This page is about a mini-school on flat surfaces and interactions that will happen in spring 2024. Three mini-courses will be given by Frederik Benirschke (compactification of linear manifolds), Saul Schleimer (mapping class group) and Peter Smillie (counting surfaces with modular forms). In relation to these mini-courses, there will be three talks given by Matteo Costantini, Viveka Erlandsson and Jan-Willem van Ittersum. Finally, there will be six short talks of participants given by Polina Baron, Edmond Covanov, Magali Jay, Pablo Montealegre, Carlos Ospina and Oscar Rutilio Molina Medrano.
The school will be held at Maison de la Nature in Le Teich, France (near Bordeaux). Registration is limited to 40 people. Accommodation is covered for all participants, and some additional limited funding for travel might be available upon request. Registration is now closed.
