Description
In this talk, we will consider the linear Boltzmann equation on the half space in the case where the equilibria are heavy tail and with different kind of boundary conditions. We will then study the diffusion limit in both cases, classical diffusion and anomalous diffusion and see how the boundary conditions influence the limiting system. We will then focus on the diffusive boundary conditions and consider an unadapted case where the profile of the diffusion induced by the interaction with the boundary does not coincide with the one in the domain.
