AI-Driven Statistical & Machine Learning Approaches for Cutting-Edge Natural Hazard Risk Assessment
This workshop aims at promoting interactions and knowledge exchange in statistical learning, machine learning, and intelligent systems. Following the success of previous edition (held in 2023, https://indico.math.cnrs.fr/event/10805/), this event will gather researchers and students from diverse fields to present recent advancements, discuss innovative methods, and explore practical applications in Artificial Intelligence. Special emphasis will be placed on bridging theoretical insights and practical implementations for natural risk managements and control. Topics in statistical modelling, remote sensing, Artificial intelligence in complex system will be discussed. The workshop will also highlight the importance of international collaboration, with active contributions from researchers at Tohoku University and the Institute of Statistical Mathematics (ISM) in Japan. Researchers from UCA, UGA and USMB Chambery will participate alongside their Japanese counterparts. Additionally, a dedicated session for student presentations will provide young researchers a platform to share their work. Invited keynote presentations will complement theoretical discussions, enhancing participant engagement and providing valuable networking opportunities.
