- Formation of a committee of world experts spanning multiple disciplines.
- Each committee member will present an online prospective lecture on key recent advances.
- This committee will meet each year for one to two weeks at IHES in June.
- An expert speaker (or perhaps several) from outside the committee who were chosen during the previous year will also be in residence. This provides a forum for the important discussion of relevant progress and the opportunity for informal discussion both within the committee and in the community at IHES together with the visiting experts.
- During this period in June in Paris there will moreover be a series of lectures spanning several days by the annual expert speakers previously chosen by the committee. This lecture series will be widely advertised and held at a noteworthy venue in order to attract the larger Paris community of scientists and in particular mathematicians.
