Practical informations

• Access: 
  The school is located at Maison de la nature in Le Teich, at 15-20 minutes walk from the train station of Le Teich. 
   
• Rooms: 
  We manage hotel reservations for the night of March 3 to March 4. Due to limited space and funding, we had to book shared rooms for younger participants. We suggested a pairing for the hotel rooms but of course you can switch rooms if you prefer. If you prefer not to share a room, please write to us as soon as possible. The hotel is "Appart'hôtel Victoria Garden Bordeaux Centre" for everybody (~20 minutes walk from the train station).
  For the rooms of Maison de la Nature in Le Teich, we have also limited space so we also suggested shared rooms for younger participants. If you want to switch rooms, please feel free to use the online shared file (sent my email).
   
•  Train: 
  We have local train tickets for everybody (unless you told us you take another train) for the trip Bordeaux-Le Teich on Monday 4 at 8:35am. We will meet at the train station and travel together to Le Teich. Return tickets are also booked for Le Teich-Bordeaux on Friday 3:20pm. 
   
•  Food: 
  Dietary restrictions are transmitted to the center. Unfortunately, the restaurant is unable to serve vegan meals or gluten/lactose free meals. The center will provide access to an independent kitchen to prepare your own meals if you are in this case. We will shop provisions in advance, if you provide us with a shopping list (please use again the shared file)
   
•  Wifi: 
  Due to the location of the center, the wifi service is quite bad. We will bring some 4g devices to help, but do not expect to be able to run a zoom session in the center with local wifi. There is a better connection at the café-bar. 
   
• Birds: 
  The center is situated in a protected space for birds, and it is a very good place to watch wild birds in their natural environment, we strongly advise to bring binoculars if you have some.
   
• Possible activities for Wednesday afternoon:
  - Dune du pilat: acces via Arcachon by train + bus (see enclosed documents on the home page)
  - Visit of Arcachon (access by train or bike)
  - Bike tour along bassin d'Arcachon "vélodyssée" v1
  - Guided tour of the ornithological park (the best time to visit is at high tide)
  - Walk around the "prés salés" and along the Arcachon bassin
