Florence Hubert, professor at the Institute of Mathematics of Marseille, is working on the developpement of numerical tools for biological issues. Her main research interests are developping new models in oncology to better understand processes as the angiogenesis, the metastatic spreading, cell migration and the impact of the anti-cancer drugs on these spreadings. She also has developped efficient finite volumes schemes for non linear elliptic operator that have found applications to medical imagery and cell migration.
