Location: The workshop will take place in the "Maison des Sciences et de l'Environnement (MSE)" at the Université Paris-Est Créteil (Auditorium Amphi 8). To come to the university coming from Paris, there are two main options : the metro line 8 (stop : Créteil Université) or the RER D (stop Vert de Maisons). There are two main ticket types:
- Metro-Train-RER Ticket: €2.50 per journey
- Bus-Tram Ticket: €2.00 per journey
If you came by metro 8 or RER D you'd need one Metro-Train Ticket per trip. If, in addition, you take a bus or a tramway, you'd need a bus-tram ticket in addition.
Paper tickets are being phased out and will no longer be sold by the end of 2025. Travelers are encouraged to use digital options such as the Navigo Easy card or smartphone applications for ticket purchases and validations.
Navigo Easy Card
The Navigo Easy card is a convenient, contactless option ideal for occasional travelers and tourists: It costs 2€ (one time fee). Rechargeable at ticket machines, counters, approved shops, or via smartphone using the Île-de-France Mobilités app.
