More Details about the Center
1) General Description
The conference will be hosted in the center called ``Village Vacances Vieille Perrotine’’.
This is not a village ! There are no shops, no restaurants,…
The closest village is Boyardville (about 2km) accessible from the center by pedestrian roads/bike trails (the center has bikes to lend to every participants)
2) Access
The center will organize a bus for a collective pick up/drop off in La Rochelle on Sunday/Friday.
The bus can stop in two places : Railway Station and Airport of La Rochelle.
Precise time and stops will be communicated later (around 4:30pm on Sunday and about 1:00pm on Friday). The connection La Rochelle <-> Oleron is about 80 min.
For international travellers, it seems that the easiest access is to fly to Paris and then take a train to La Rochelle (from Paris Montparnasse or from Charles de Gaulle airport). There are also flights between La Rochelle and London/Paris/Lyon/Geneva but the schedule in October is not yet available.
An alternative to the collective shuttle is to use public transportation. Buses can be taken at La Rochelle, Rochefort or Surgères and the stop Dolus d'Oleron is close to the center.
Schedule La Rochelle<-> Rochefort, Schedule Surgères/Rochefort <-> Oleron
