RYDE is a digital signature protocol based on the Rank Syndrome Decoding problem and the MPC-in-the-Head paradigm. We present an high-level description of the scheme and the MPC-in-the-Head paradigm, on which the protocol is built. The security of the signature is conditioned by the difficulty of solving the Rank Syndrome Decoding problem, which made RYDE a quantum-resistant signature. We begin to build a zero-knowledge proof of knowledge of the witness of a Rank-SD instance, that we transform in signature scheme thanks to the Fiat-Shamir heuristic. Using additive sharing in the multi-party protocol allows to give to shares an hypercube structure.
