Cacti groups and others

We  give an overview of cacti groups in algebraic combinatorics. Then we show how they are related to Berenstein--Kirillov groups by comparing their combinatorial action on tableaux. This is based on a joint work with Mojdeh T. Feller and Jacinta Torres.
