A reduction from Hawk to the principal ideal problem in a quaternion algebra

Hawk is a signature published in 2023, whose security is based on a variant of the Lattice Isomorphism Problem, called  module-LIP. The publication of this signature sparked an interest in the resolution of module-LIP. In this talk, we present a polynomial time reduction from this problem, to another mathematical problem that involves quaternion algebras. This result comes from a 2025 paper of ours, that mainly uses number fields and quaternion algebras notions. If you want to learn more about it, come to the talk.
