Entropic hypercoercivity provides estimates uniform in the dimensions of the dynamics, that are useful in proving hydrodynamic limit. In particular we use it to prove diffusive isothermal macroscopic transformations for a chain of non-linear oscillators immersed in a heat bath with a gradient of temperatures.
