The purpose of these master classes is to bring non-specialists (students, PhD students, young researchers...) to an advanced understanding of the stable homology of groups and its approach through functor categories.

Courses (5th-9th June 2023 in Lille)

The week will be organized around two courses:

  1. Nathalie Wahl (University of Copenhaguen) : Homological stability.
  2. Christine Vespa (Aix-Marseille université) : Twisted stable homology via functor homology.

These courses will be complemented by exercise sessions and a few research talks (TBA).

Online resources will be sent to the participants in May in order to cover the prerequisites for the courses.

Registration and financial support

Registration is now open, until the 7th of May. Late registrations might be possible, subject to availability.

Participants will have the opportunity to apply for financial support. Priority for financial support will be given to the first applications and will respect gender equality criteria.
