Description

We present a model for chemotaxis that is based on local sensing, that
is, the cells respond to a certain concentration of chemoattractant
perceived locally (as opposed to gradient sensing, when the cells are
able to perceive a gradient of concentration). We will study the
specificity of this model, compared to classical models like the minimal
Keller-Segel system, with a focus on well-posedness and long-time
behaviour.
