Let $\Omega$ a bounded domain of $\mathbb{R}^D$. We discuss here the uniqueness of classical solutions of equation $\Delta u= \sin u$ that vanish on $\partial\Omega$. We give some applications to the global attractor of sine-Gordon equations.
