Description

We fix a prime integer p>0. By an overconvergent Eichler-Shimura map we understand the description of the module of finite slope, weight k elliptic modular symbols in terms of overconvergent, weight k+2 elliptic modular forms of finite slope. Here k is a p-adic weight.

In this talk I will explain some recent progress we (Fabrizio Andreatta and I) made on understanding these overconvergent Eichler-Shimura maps and some arithmetic applications.
