The construction of the $\Phi^4_3$ measure on the torus is quite involved and so far only achieved using various combinations of multiscale decompositions and expansion methods. In this talk I present a new method (joint work with Nikolay Barashkov) to obtain an explicit description of this measure (which is not absolutely continuous wrt. the reference Gaussian measure) via its Laplace transform. Our approach goes via a renormalized stochastic optimal control problem formulation together with a $\Gamma$-convergence result.
