The workshop Aperiodicity and Hierarchical structures in tilings is part of a thematic semester "Graphs, groups and Dynamics" held by the Milyon Labex in Lyon between September 2017 and February 2018.
The main theme of this conference is the notion of hierarchical structures in tilings, and its connection to aperiodicity. Our idea is to gather mathematicians and computer scientists working on various aspects of tilings.
This workshop will follow directly an advanced school Sept. 18-22, 2017.
