Well-posedness and differentiability of minimal time functions with constant dynamics

Description
Minimal time problems with a convex constant dynamics in Banach spaces are studied. We investigate relationship between attainability and differentiability of the minimal time function. We also investigate the circumstances under which the minimal time function having upper right hand Dini derivative equal to 1 implies the strong attainability of the function. As an application we derive necessary optimality conditions for a location problem.
