Description

We will start by introducing general results of transcendental number theory, starting from the definitions and then stating the landmark results of Hermite, Lindemann and Weierstrass on the exponential function. We will then move to the definition of E-functions, a class of functions defined by Siegel on which we can hope to obtain similar theorems. Finally, we will use a little bit of graph theory to prove a result about how an E-function can satisfy a certain type of functional relation.
