This workshop is part of a CIMI semester on Control Theory.

Spectral theory, control theory and inverse problems, though often treated as distinct fields, are in fact deeply and complementarily linked. Indeed, many results in control theory and inverse problems are obtained using various spectral methods.
A prime example is the Lebeau–Robbiano–Jerison spectral inequality, which plays a central role in proving the zero-point controllability of the heat equation. We may also mention the close link between the stabilisation of EDPs and resolvent estimates.
The aim of this conference is to bring together experts from these various fields to discuss the diverse and current applications of spectral theory to control theory and inverse problems.

The conference will take place at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, in the Schwartz amphitheatre (building 1R3)

Organizers: Jérémi Dardé (IMT), Julien Royer (IMT), Jesus-Pablo Toledo-Zucco (INSA-LAAS).
