Maxime Boucher: Goodness of fit for K sample in the framework of circular data based on trigonometric moments

In this presentation, we aim to construct an hypothesis test for the distribution of K sample. We will first described directional data and the particular case of circular data. We will describe the test-statistic based on trigonometric moments and we will consider a set of alternative in order to quantify the (asymptotic)-power of our test. Highlighting theorem with Monte-Carlo simulations, we will study an application to the location of sunspots according different solar cycles.
