Description
Random maps are among the most studied models of random geometry over the last fifteen years. Here, we will focus on the local behaviour of large random triangulations. We will begin with an accessible introduction to the field of random maps. We will then present results on the classical local limits of random triangulations (UIPT, UIHPT). We will then turn our attention to the local limits of large genus random triangulations that exhibit hyperbolic behaviour.
