In this talk, we discuss the behavior of a blowing-up solution of a loglog non-scaling invariant semilinear wave equation. In particular we prove that the blow-up rate near a non-characteristic blow-up point is comparable to the associated ODE.
The proof relies upon the design of a Lyapunov functional and the use of the similarity variables, together with some energy, nonlinear, and interpolation estimates.
