Description

In this talk, I will present some results regarding the propagation properties of solutions of the predator-prey system with nonlocal dispersal. First, I will focus on the spreading speeds of the predator and the prey in two different situations, namely, the predator spreads faster than the prey and the predator spreads slower than the prey. Second, I will briefly introduce a predator-prey system with general response function and nonlocal diffusion in high dimensional space. The invasion speed of the predator into habitat of the aborigine prey of this system will be described and the differences with the first part of the talk will be explained.
