Description
In this talk, I will first introduce what are telomeres, and the experimental design used to produce the data of single of telomerase negative yeast lineages.Such lineages display precocious abnormally long cell cycles, that occure earlier than the fatal phase of replicative senescence. Then I will present two models to predict and understand the onset of the first long cycle. Finally, I will present two aspects that distinguish early long cycles from replicative senescence.
