We will discuss the Theorem of Dulac and Ilyashenko's attempt at proof. We will particularly focus on the role of the classification of Saddle nodes in the style of Martinet-Ramis and how one of the ways to repair the gap could be based on real normal forms for the Dulac maps of saddle nodes.
