We establish a sharp lower bound for the log canonical threshold of a plurisubharmonic function with an isolated singularity in terms of intermediate multiplicity numbers, following works of Demailly and Pham, as well as a recent generalisation of by Pham. This bound has found many applications in birational geometry. The proof consists in a reduction to the toric case, i.e. singularities arising from monomial ideals.
