We will learn about the existence of certain algebraic objects that look the same under a suitable homotopy theory but are different otherwise. Towards this, we will first equip ourselves with the basic objects of study and define a suitable environment where we can talk about homotopy between these objects. The ideas are aimed to be illustrated with appropriate analogies from topology and are meant to accessible for wider audience of interest.
