We will explain how Conformal Field Theory in 2 dimensions can be defined mathematically in the formalism of Segal, and 
show on two families of models how to construct rigorously such theories from the path integral using probability. 
Such theories are supposed to be integrable, which roughly means in our case that the natural observables, the so called correlation functions, can be computed explicitly by means of geometric, spectral and representation theoretic methods. We shall explain how the symmetries, and thus the integrability, fit in our construction.
