The surgey presentation is a way of representing a 3-manifold throught a

framed link. This gives at the same time the Kirby moves wich are moves on framed links which are the equivalents of homeomorphisms for the represented 3-manifold. Surgery presentation will gives us a good opportunity to observe an exemple of studies on Skein modules*

 

*Skein modules can be seen as a generalisation of Jones polynomial
