Titre : On locally matrix algebras.

Abstract: Let F be a ground field. An associative F-algebra A is called a locally matrix algebra (after A.Kurosh) if for each finite subset of A there exists a subalgebra containing this finite subset which is isomorphic to the matrix algebra Mn(F) for some n.

We will discuss the tensor decompositions of locally matrix algebras and their Steinitz invariants, and
the properties of their automorphisms groups and their Lie algebras of derivations.
