The Institut Henri Poincaré hosts the MATRIX × IMAGINARY joint conference on the future of mathematics engagement.
This conference on math museums and math popularization is converging the traditions of MATRIX conferences (by MoMath, New York) and the IMAGINARY conferences (by IMAGINARY, Berlin) in a joint event. The event will be hosted by IHP who is working on opening the future Maison Poincaré, a new math museum in Paris.
Registrations for the conference will open on May 23 on this webpage and close on Friday, August 26, 2022. Only 150 places will be available.
Conference fee: EUR 180.
There is also a reduced fee of EUR 100 for students and special groups (please send a message indicating the reason you apply for discount to matrixximaginary@ihp.fr ).
There will also be a limited number of sponsored tickets and travel grants for participants who would like to attend and cannot afford it. These grants will be awarded by the organizing team, after a special application that will open with the registration for the conference.
