At hadronic energy scales, quantum chromodynamics (QCD) requires a nonperturbative treatment to calculate physical observables. Lattice QCD is a nonperturbative framework that facilitates numerical simulation of the theory and is the only known systematically-improvable approach to calculate phenomenological relevant QCD parameters.
