Amaury Hayat (Institut Polytechnique de Paris) - Stabilization of PDEs and AI for Mathematics
In this talk, we will first present a new approach to the stabilization of PDEs, called F-equivalence. The principle is simple: instead of directly trying to find a feedback control that makes the system stable, we seek to find a feedback control that transforms the original system into a simpler system, for which stability is already known. We will show how this simple idea allows us to stabilize systems that have so far been out of reach of the
usual control techniques, in particular for systems where the control operators are not admissible, and the system is not (null) controllable. In the second part, we will discuss recent progress in AI for mathematics, in both Mathematical discovery and automated theoremproving, and we will discuss future directions.
