Mirror deformation of Markov triple

We give a q-deformation of the classical Markov equation, which specializes to many other generalized Markov equations. By studying the solutions, we prove a factorization property that allows us to define new q-deformed Markov numbers, with a geometric interpretation of this deformation via generalized cluster algebras on surfaces. This is based on joint work with P. Jouteur, E. Kantarcı Oğuz, M. Molander, and E. Yıldırım.
