Semiorthogonal decompositions from quantum cohomology

I will present some ideas from the non commutative minimal model program (ncMMP) proposed by Halpern-Leistener as well as some examples worked out by myself and in collaboration with Tomohiro Karube and Alekos Robotis.
An essential step of the ncMMP predicts that quantum cohomology of a variety gives a path in the manifold of stability conditions and this path gives a preferred semiorthogonal decomposition. When the variety has semisimple quantum cohomology such prediction is essentially equivalent to the Gamma conjectures. In a work in progress we study the case of cubic threefolds and fourfolds and we show that quantum cohomology induces the standard semiorthogonal decomposition.
