In the 90s, Feigin and Odesskii introduced elliptic algebras, which are deformations of polynomial algebras associated with an elliptic curve, with its shift serving as a deformation parameter, generalizing Sklyanin algebras. The same authors started studying the corresponding homogeneous Poisson structure.
I will give the definition and basic properties of the Feigin-Odesskii Poisson structure, and also some simple examples. I will briefly discuss my joint work with A. Polishchuk about compatible FO Poisson structures.
