Description

In this talk, we study, via perturbative methods, the rates of production of W bosons emitted in neutrino decays in an expanding spacetime. Those processes are important because we can estimate the production of matter and antimatter in the early Universe. We compute the transition amplitude in the first order of the electroweak perturbation theory in de Sitter spacetime and study its various limiting cases. The transition rates are derived using minimal subtraction and dimensional regularization. Ultimately, we calculate the boson number density.
