Conference venue and maps
The conference will take place in the building of the Graduate Schools of the University of Würzburg (UWGS):

The campus is a short bus ride from the city center of Würzburg, the nearest bus stop being "Campusbrücke" (bus services 34, 10) and "Philosophische Fakultät" (bus services 114, 214). For bus number 10, choose correct destination ("Hubland Campus Nord"), or exit in "Universitätsbibiothek".

For those intending to walk in the morning, be aware that the campus lies 100 m higher than the river / city center on top of a hill. Parking on campus is free (e.g. in front of the Mathematics Institute, Emil-Fischer-Strasse 40).
Premier Inn Hotel
The invited speakers of the conference are booked into the Premier Inn Würzburg Hotel (website). Limited parking is available at this hotel (17 EUR/night).
The bus connection from the Premier Inn Hotel is with buses 14 and 214. You catch the bus at the bus stop Hauptfriedhof, and you exit at
- Campusbrücke, if you are in Bus 14, and
- Philosophische Fakultät, if you are in Bus 214.
There is a bus every 10 min, and the duration of the trip is about 15-20 min. Here you consult directions and timetable of the buses: link.
The easiest way to reach the conference venue is to take the bus (see above). However, if you want to walk, the shortest = steepest path from the Premier inn Hotel is to take the stairs and the bridge shown below. Beware that the campus is uphill, so you might find it more comfortable to walk down then up.
Suggested hotels
For a hotel, book soon, because Würzburg is a very popular tourist destination. We suggest staying near or in the old historical city of Würzburg. There is frequent public transportation out to the building of the conference (~3 kilometers), see below.
