Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation on Quantum Graphs

In this talk, I will discuss the existence of solutions for nonlinear
Schrödinger equations on a quantum graph. I will focus on
energy-minimizing solutions, known as ground states, which arise in
physics, and present a general criterion for their existence based on
comparing the energy on the graph with the energy on the line. I will
test this criterion on standard examples, including the cat graph.
