Description
The canonical zero-cycle on a K3 surface S is the class of a point on a rational curve. Beauville and Voisin showed that the intersection of two divisors is proportional to the canonical cycle. They also showed that the second Chern class of S is proportional to the canonical class as well. Our goal is to give a new proof of the last fact.
