Sections of the spinor tenfold

Primitive Fano threefolds of genus 7 are linear sections
of the spinor tenfold. I will discuss the families of Fano manifolds
that one obtains as sections of low codimension. The critical case
is codimension four, which is related to the classical theory of
Kummer surfaces. (Joint work with Yingqi Liu.)
