Description

Mori dream spaces are a special kind of varieties introduced by Hu and Keel in 2001 that enjoy very good properties with respect to the minimal model program. On the other hand, not many classes of examples of these are known. In this talk we introduce a new set of examples of Mori dream spaces that arise as blowups of n-dimensional smooth projective hypersurfaces.
