Description
We study the dissipative Gross-Pitaevskii equation with rotation around an axis and a nonlocal term preserving the L2-norm of the solution. We are motivated by several physical experiments and numerical simulations using this model to study the formation of stable vortex lattices in Bose-Einstein condensates. We show local and global well-posedness. Then we study the asymptotic behavior. We prove that the omega limit set is made of stationary states of the equation. Moreover, when the energy of the initial condition is small enough, we prove strong asymptotic convergence to the set of ground states.
