Description
During this talk I will present recent results about the geometric entanglement of random states which is a natural measure of multipartite entanglement.
I will show how techniques coming from the study of the complexity of spherical spin glasses can be used to determine bounds and convergence of the geometric entanglement
in both the limit of large local dimension and the limit of a large number of parties for Haar random states.
Time permitting, I will describe a new, simpler approach to this problem, allowing to obtain both asymptotic and non asymptotic results for non-Haar random states.
