Description

This winter school is the launch event of the thematic semester Mathematical Aspects of Quantum Mechanics. It will comprise three courses
- Quasiprobabilities at the service of the quantum (Stephan De Bièvre - Université de Lille 1)
- Ruminations on information theory and statistical mechanics (Vojkan Jaksic - McGill University)
- Introduction to spectral theory (Stéphane Nonnenmacher - Université Paris Saclay )
The course is aimed primarily at M2 and PhD students, but may also be of interest to post-docs and researchers wishing to train or add to their knowledge of mathematical physics. One of the aims is to introduce the fundamental notions needed to follow the other events of the semester.
For students who may need it, partial financial support is possible. Submit an application.
This event is a CNRS Thematic school.
