 f noncommutative geometry is evolving rapidly at the moment\, finding new 
 applications in representation theory and analysis on manifolds.  This in
 ternational conference\, organized in collaboration with the University of
  Kyoto\, is aimed at recent advances in these and related fields:Index the

 e also presents an opportunity to honour the mathematical influence and ac
 hievements of Nigel Higson\, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The co
 nference will take place in Room 127 of the Mathematics Department at the 
 North Campus of the University of Kyoto.  This is located in building num
