I will explain how one can classify vector bundles on smooth affine $k$-varieties using Morel-Voevodsky's motivic homotopy theory, following some spectacular ideas of Aravind Asok and Jean Fasel. In particular, I will give a live demonstration of the "motivic toolkit" with the hope of demystifying them and making them more popular.
