Granular flows have been widely studied in recent years due to the important role that they play in the understanding of natural hazards (avalanches, debris flows, submarine landslides...). In this talk, an overview of recent advances made in the modelling of dry granular flows will be presented. We deal with modelling aspect, as well as the numerical approximation of these models in the framework of Finite Volume methods. Simulations, including comparisons with laboratory experiments, will be shown.
